In Gonzo’s Treasure Map, you aim to predict where Gold and Multiplier blocks will land while uncovering stones with Gonzo's keys. The game is played on a giant wall with 70 squares, each serving as a bet spot.
You start by placing bets on one or more squares on the map. As the betting period comes to an end, the wall will fall away, revealing three Gonzo Keystones - that could take you to the Bonus round.
There is a Prize Drop - and the upper slot above the wall begins moving, causing five randomly chosen blocks to drop onto the wall. These blocks come in two types:
- Gold block (with a 10x multiplier)
- Multiplier block (with a 20x multiplier)
• If a Gold block falls on a regular stone that you’ve bet on, you’ll receive a 10x payout. • If a Multiplier block falls on a regular stone you’ve bet on, you’ll receive a 20x payout. • If a Gold block falls on a Gonzo Keystone with your bet, you’ll be taken to the Bonus round. • If a Multiplier block falls on a Gonzo Keystone with your bet, you’ll be taken to the Bonus round, and all multipliers will be doubled.
Only players who bet on the Gonzo Key stone where a block lands can participate in the Bonus round.
Bonus Rounds in Gonzo's Treasure Map
When the bonus round starts, Gonzo will use his key to rotate the wall, revealing another wall covered with 70 stones featuring various multipliers:
- 25x,
- 50x,
- 75x,
- 100x,
- 150x,
- 200x,
- 500x,
- X2. Higher multipliers are less frequent occurrences.
One ruby block will ascend into the top slot, stopping in any random column, and it will then drop onto a stone within that column. If the Ruby block lands on a multiplier, the game will come to an end, and that multiplier will determine your payout.
Should the Ruby block land on a Double tile (X2), all wall multipliers double, and the top slot starts again. The Bonus round continues until the Ruby block lands on a multiplier - with the potential for multipliers doubling multiple times.
